Aulis
Market testing and pilots
You want to know how the idea works in the real market – not in a survey, but at the moment of purchase.
The problem
You want to know how the idea works in the real market – not in a survey, but at the moment of purchase.
What Aulis does
Online: campaigns, landing pages, SEO/GEO, email and pricing experiments. Face to face: fairs, pop-ups, demos, customer meetings and pilots.
Tangible output
A test plan, execution, metrics and a report on what customers actually did.
Example
Viri & Palo: a new B2B service is being tested through its website, content and direct contacts.
How long it takes
By test – a campaign in days, a pilot in weeks.
Questions
Straight answers.
How do you test a business idea before investing?
Turn the idea into something a customer can react to – a landing page, a concept image or a pre-order – and measure what customers actually do. Only then decide whether to invest more. The Aulis way: pick the single most important assumption, build the lightest test for it and agree in advance what result means go.
How do you test demand for a product before manufacturing?
Show the product as concept images or 3D visualisations and ask for a clear action: a pre-order, an email or a quote request. A physical prototype at a fair or pop-up tells you more once first interest is confirmed.
How long does concept development take?
A first concept often takes half a day to a couple of days. Broader concept work with visualisations and tests usually takes 1–6 weeks. The duration depends on what you need to learn, not on the calendar.
